Svetlana Boukhny concentrates her practice in Immigration and Naturalization Law and related matters, serving corporate as well as individual clients. Ms. Boukhny, who emigrated from the former Soviet Union in 1980 and speaks fluent Russian, graduated from Indiana University–Bloomington in 1991 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism, Comparative Literature and Slavic Languages and Literatures. In 1996 she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Pace University School of Law, where she also served on the Honor Board. Ms. Boukhny has worked in the corporate (immigration) department of Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis, Indiana) and in the business immigration law firm of Littler Mendelson Bacon & Dear, PLLC (Phoenix, Arizona) prior to becoming a solo practitioner.

Ms. Boukhny is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and several state and local bar associations. She is admitted to practice in several jurisdictions, including Arizona, Indiana and Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
